A Man Known as Tree Man Grows Bark like Warts on His Skin | Medical Mysteries

There is a guy known as Tree Man who grow bark like warts on his body. I was watching TV and it was advertising for a show called Medical Mysteries that was coming on. During one of the advertising parts it showed a guy they called tree man that looked like he was growing tree bark on his skin.

He looked crazy and I had to check it out. It is actually pretty interesting. I have never in my life heard or seen anything like this or even knew some disease like this existed. I’m in nursing school and have never seen anything like this.

It turns out he has a crazy form of the HPV virus which causes warts. He actually hasn’t had this disease his whole life. He said the warts started popping out after he got a bad cut on his knee.

I’m guessing he got the virus then. I feel sorry for him because he said that he wife let him and now he is trying to support his kids and he is poor.

I just can’t believe those are warts. The good news is that after the show aired some doctor is trying to help him but they say it is going to take awhile until he gets back to normal. I hope he gets cured!

My husband thinks it would be fun if he went on the show. He has a heat hives condition, called Cholinergic Urticaria, and he breaks out into hives and his skin gets really itchy whenever he gets hot or exercises. It is a really strange thing. But he is a chicken and would never go on that show (he is way too shy).

Until next time….

Sarah 😉 future Registered Nurse RN
