My Registered Nursing RN Blog Has Moved to RegisteredNurseRN.com!

Hello Everyone =),

My blog has officially changed from Rnlife.com, to RegisteredNurseRN.com.

You can still access my site by typing in “registerednursern.com,” however, you may want to update any bookmarks or feeds you have to point to the new site.

I hope to make several changes to the site over the next month or two (with the help of my web guru husband). I will turn on the “Ask Me a Question” feature. I will also turn comments back on as soon as everything has been changed. I have turned them as I have been updating things, and I will turn them back on soon.

Work has been going great lately, and I am really enjoying my job as a Registered Nurse.  After nearly a year, I am finally settling in and I feel very comfortable with my job. There was definitely a learning curve, but I feel that I have a strong grasp of nursing and I really feel comfortable doing my job.

I will try to update a lot more soon, so stay tuned =). Till next time,

Sarah

We’re Bringing Nursing Back, There is a Nursing Shortage-That’s a Fact. YouTube Video is Funny!

I was stumbling around on the web today, and I came across a very funny nursing spoof video. This is a spoof on the Justin Timberlake song, “Bringing sexy back…”, but it features nursing lyrics, and is performed by nurses (or nursing students).

I thought it was pretty funny, and had some funny lyrics. The first few minutes are very boring and it appears as if it is a lecture, but keep watching. They bust out in some dance moves, singing, and everything. My husband and I thought it was funny (but a little on the corny side hehe). But hey, maybe it will inspire more people to become  a Registered Nurse RN =).
