    Hey Jackia!

Typically, you start clinicals/interships during the 1st or 2nd semester of nursing school. I went to a nursing program that was a bachelors program and it took me 4 years to complete. The first year and half I completed regular college courses that were non-nursing. Then during the second semester of my sophomore year I was in nursing school.

However, during that first semester of nursing school we learned the foundations of nursing which helped prepare us for clinicals. Then when my junior year started my nursing clinicals began. I LOVED, LOVED my clinicals and enjoyed so much about them. That is why I decided to join the cardiac field as a nurse. You are exposed to so much stuff during clinicals that it will help you decide what field you want to enter.

    I hope that helps 🙂

    Sincerely,
    Sarah
