Play Sports and Go to Nursing school?

I have received a track scholarship for college next year. My plans are to attend nursing school. Do you think it will be hard to manage nursing school and playing a college sport at the same time?

    Hey Taylyr,

Thanks for your great question! Absolutely!! While I was in the nursing program I was friends with school athletes who played basketball and soccer. My professors were very accommodating to them especially when they would be out of class for games that were far away. I think that as long as you stay organized and keep on top of your school work you will be fine.

Welcome to site and I wish you much success in your nursing career pursuit.

    Sarah 🙂

Sure lots of people do it. You will only be busy with meets during the spring semester and have more time during the fall. Take your hardest classes during the fall time.
