How to Make Italian Spaghetti Homemade

This recipe is for making easy Italian Spaghetti. This recipe for spaghetti is inexpensive and very simple to make. You will have everyone thinking you slaved all day making this dish.

Spaghetti consists of a special tomato sauce, spaghetti noodles, and other key ingredients. This meal is great to fix if you are busy and need to cook a fast, fulfilling meal for the family. Here is a simple recipe for Spaghetti:

Ingredients for Making Spaghetti

  • 1 quart of your favorite Spaghetti Sauce
  • ½-1 lb of Hamburger meat
  • *Optional- Sausage
  • 1 Medium Chopped Onion
  • 2 Tablespoons of Garlic Powder
  • 2 Tablespoons of Cooking Oil
  • ½ box of Regular Spaghetti Noodles

How to Make Spaghetti-Cooking Instructions

Begin by combining oil, chopped onion, and garlic powder together in a non-stick pan. Then cook the onion until it is tender. Once it is tender, add uncooked hamburger meat and cook until brown. Then drain excess grease and return to stove eye.

Now add your favorite spaghetti sauce and bring this to a boil. Once at a boil turn heat down to a low setting and cover for 10-15 minutes. While this is simmering, cook spaghetti noodles as directed on the box.

*Tip- Add salt to water before boiling spaghetti noodles to add flavor and to allow for faster boiling.

Once noodles and sauce are done, combine drained spaghetti noodles and sauce together and serve.

Best Served with- Garlic Bread, Salad, Soup, or all by itself.
