How to Make Homemade Strawberry Pie

This recipe is very simple and includes step-by-step instructions on how to make mouth watering Strawberry Pie. This pie is the perfect dessert and is sure to please the family! These can be served for almost any occasion, and are common favorites for the holidays.

They also make a great dessert for nursing lounges as well.

Ingredients for Homemade Strawberry Pie:

  • 1 Graham Cracker Pie Shell Crust
  • 1-2 pints of Fresh Strawberries
  • 1 cup of Sugar
  • 2 Tablespoons of Corn Starch
  • 1 cup of Boiling Hot Water
  • 3 Tablespoons of Strawberry Jell-O Mix
  • Container of Whipped Cream
  • 2-3 drops of red food coloring *Optional

Before you begin, wash your strawberries thoroughly and cut off their stems. If you desire cut them into halves or you can leave them as they are.

*It is recommended to cut the big strawberries in half. Now, put your washed strawberries into a Graham Cracker Pie Shell Crust.

Then, mix together 1 cup of sugar, 2 tablespoons of corn starch, 1 cup of boiling water into a cooking pan and cook until this mixture is thick.

Once it is thick, add 3 tablespoons of Strawberry Jell-O mix and 2-3 drops of red food coloring (optional). Now, let this mixture cool for about 5 minutes and then pour it over the strawberries in the pie shell crust.

Finally, let this refrigerate for about an hour and half or until jell-O is firm. Then garnish with whipped cream and ENJOY!!!
