How to Make Easy Homemade Cowboy Pizza

This recipe is on how to make homemade cowboy pizza. This recipe has been around for many years and is a favorite among families. It is so simple to make and will have the people eating it thinking you slaved all day cooking it. This is also a great dish for nursing school students.

Here is the original recipe for Homemade Cowboy Pizza.

Ingredients for Homemade Cowboy Pizza:

  • 4 Medium potatoes cut into slices

  • 1 package of prepared pizza dough

  • 1 lb of cook hamburger meat

  • 1 1/2 cup of Barbecue Sauce

  • 2 Medium Green Bell Peppers cut into strips

  • 3 cups of Shredded Cheddar Cheese

Heat oven to 425’F. Place potatoes in a microwavable dish and cover. Microwave for 8 to 10 minutes until tender. Use a 12 inch pizza pan and coat with non-stick spray.

Prepare dough according to package’s instructions and place dough onto pan. Spread dough even around on pan. Bake this for 10 minutes. After the dough has finished cooking for 10 minutes, place the cooked hamburger meat and barbecue sauce together by combining it.

Place this mixture on top of the dough, spreading it evenly. Then place the bell peppers and cheese on top of this. Now bake this for 10 to 15 minutes until crust is golden brown and cheese is melted. Then ENJOY!
