Is it Profitable to Sell Name Nursing Scrubs on eBay?

Here is a great question that I was recently asked below:

I’m thinking about selling some nursing scrubs on eBay. I Just wanted to know if you have sold any nursing scrubs on ebay an if it a waste of time or it turned out to be good? it will be mostly high end/name brand scrubs of various colors. I get my scrubs sometimes as gifts, and many of them are still in new condition.

Selling Nursing Scrubs on eBay Profitable?

Great question! I sold a variety of merchandise, and generally didn’t like dealing with clothing or nursing scrubs on eBay that often. However, I have sold one or two pairs of nursing scrubs if memory serves me correctly. Of course, there are pros and cons to selling clothing on eBay.

It is hard to get the full value, but if you get them free (as a gift), then I don’t see why you couldn’t turn a tidy profit with them. After all, you’d probably just let them sit in your closet otherwise, right?

Tips to Selling Nursing Clothes on eBay:

  • Use a great listing. Consider grabbing a cute template for your eBay listing, or taking time to make sure the text has good formatting, etc. You want your listing to appear professional and easy to read.
  • Take some great pictures of the nursing scrubs. This will help the buyer see what they are buying. Try to get a shot of the authentic tags if you can as well, and any price tags (if any). Pictures are worth a thousand words, and the buyer will likely not want to buy if you don’t include a picture (or if the picture is low quality).
  • Make sure to list all of the measurements, including the size (L,M,S), and for pants inseam measurements. Also specify whether they are adult sizes, children’s, etc. whenever you sell any clothing. Some hospitals are very strict about the tone and colors of the scrubs. They may also be picky about the style of the neck cut, pants, etc. So it is very important to include as many details about them as you possibly can. This will also reduce the risk of the buyer being dissatisfied, or wanting to return them later on.

If you follow those tips, you should be able to get the most for your money! Best of luck with your selling your nursing supplies on eBay!
Also, when buying scrubs, here are some tips in the video below:

Hope that helps!
