This recipe is for making Egg Drop Soup. This soup can be found at many Chinese restaurants and is a favorite among Chinese food lovers. I used to crave this dish and I eventually learned how I could make it at home for days when I didn’t feel like going to a restaurant.

This recipe for Egg Drop Soup is very simple to make and can be made easily in the microwave. This recipe is very quick and easy to make!

This recipe will give you step-by-step instructions on how to make the best tasting Egg Drop Soup that is sure to please your taste buds.

Ingredients for Egg Drop Soup:

  • 3 1/2 cups of Hot Water
  • 1/4 cup of Sliced Green Onion
  • 5 Teaspoons of Instant Chicken Bouillon Granules
  • 1/2 teaspoon of Soy Sauce
  • 3 Beaten Eggs

Begin by combining Hot Water, Green Onion Slices, Bouillon Granules, and Soy Sauce together in a large microwavable bowl.

Microwave this combination on HIGH for 7 to 9 minutes making sure it comes to a boil. Then slowly pour in the beaten eggs and then microwave on HIGH for 1 minute and then stir. This is the fastest way to cook it.

If you want to cook it on the stove, then combine the water, onions, bouillion granules, and soy sauce into a pot and put on medium or medium high until a slow boil develops. Then add the eggs and stir them to the desired consistency for about 2-4 minutes. Then season and serve.
