HESI Exit I have to Score a 850 or more | Need Study Tips

My school implemented HESI Exit exam 4 weeks from our graduation and over 90 percent of the students did not pass, luckily we have three attempts so they allowed us to decide if we wanted to retest on Monday or in the end of January. I got a 760 and the school requires an 850. I’m doing 250 questions a day and viewing the remediation package but I have no clue as if it is possible to raise my score to an 850 with such little time.

    Bebe,

Sorry to hear about your situation. I had to take the exit HESI in order to graduate (so stressful). I passed the first try and I really recommend you take a look at S.L.’s study guide that she provided to this website for HESI. She used the HESI study guide manual and the Saunders Comprehensive study guide for NCLEX (what books are you using?). I followed her study guide.

I recommend you take the test at the end of January because that will give you more study time. If you have the HESI study book (which I really recommend) I would pay close attention to the HESI hints and the end of the chapter questions (you will see them again). I found the CD of questions it came with to be pointless but you might find them useful. The practice question CD was too hard and I scored really low on it and it actually made me felt like I would fail the exit HESI. Also, I recommend you continue practicing NCLEX questions over and over…preferably with the Saunders Comprehensive study guide CD of practice questions.

If you don’t know about the HESI study guide by S.L. here is a link to it:

If you do all of that I recommended I seriously don’t know what else you can do. Good luck and I wish you the best!
