How can I effectively put my theory learning from lecture class to correct use while I am in clinicals with out freezing up?
For example, reading labs, I could be completely confident in lecture, but once I put it to use in clinical how will I be able to regurgitate the information correctly without freezing up?

I had the same problem when I was a new nurse. I always knew the material for tests and for the NCLEX but there was something about having to talk to a doctor or make a clinical decision that made my mind go blank.
Truthfully, I think everyone experiences this even though many won’t admit it. Overtime (because you will be doing it over and over) labs and other important theory information will become second nature to you and you will be an expert in it. It is just at first it is hard and you feel so much pressure.
The new nurse grads I orient have the same problems because their brains are in information overload but soon after a couple of weeks they start to feel comfortable and the “freezing up” passes.
