Hey Everyone,
I received another “ask me a question” and this questions comes from Shay and here is what she asked:
“I am doing my isearch paper on nursing and needing to interview or asked questions to someone and i was wondering if you could help me out.
why did you want to be in the nursing field?
what type of nursing are you in?
I want to be a pediatric Nurse and work in the nursery.
that is my goal and im willing to do anything to achieve it.
how many years of school does it take?
what do you need to become a nurse?
thank you for your time.

iSearch Paper- Why Be a Registered Nurse?
Shay, thank you so much for your question…and so sorry about the delay. School has been totally and utterly crazy. I feel flattered that you picked me to answer these questions.
“Why did you want to be in the nursing field?” This question is easy for me to answer. I wanted to be in the nursing field because I ABSOLUTELY love helping people. I feel God bless with a caring and loving attitude towards people who need to be helped. I find it so fulfilling that my job lets me make an impact on the world. In a way I feel like I’m able to leave my mark on the world by hopefully helping individuals get a second second chance at life. Plus I feel I have the best job in the world because I get to be with people during the most vulnerable moments. And what is so crazy about all this is that I get paid to do something I love!
“What type of nursing are you in?” I’m actually still a nursing student until May 9, 2009…..woohoo but I’m going into cardiac nursing. However, I want to try everything really. I feel my heart is in community based-nursing such as home health and clinic nursing. I will probably do this when I’m in my late 30s. I would also like to teach health science to high school students because you can with a BSN-RN. The great thing about nursing is that you can do whatever you want….there are so many options!
