This recipe is on how to make Salisbury Steak which is also known as Steak and Gravy. This recipe is very simple to make and calls for ingredients that can be found right in your refrigerator.
Salisbury Streak is a traditional family meal and has be made in households for many decades. It is often served with sides such as mashed potatoes, green beans, corn on the cob, butter rolls, and more.
Here are step-by-step instructions on how to make Salisbury Steak:
Ingredients to Make Salisbury Steak:

1 lb ground chunk or ground round beef

1/2 cup of regular Oatmeal

1/2cup of Milk (Regular or 2%)

1 Teaspoon of Salt & Pepper

2 Cans of French Onion Soup

1 cup of Flour

2 Tablespoons of Cooking Oil
Begin by mixing meat, oatmeal, milk and Salt & Pepper together in a mixing bowl. Then in a medium skillet heat cooking oil on medium until hot.
Once you have combine the contents into a mixing bowl, start making small round or square patties out of the meat and then in a small bowl dip each individual patty into flour by completely covering it.
Then place patties in skillet and cook until brown on both side. Once they are brown, remove from heat and drain grease. Then add meat back to skillet and then add the 2 cans of French Onion Soup to meat.
Let this come to a boil and then simmer for 25 minutes or until it becomes thick. Use the leftover French onion Soup as gravy (if a lot has evaporated add water).
Then ENJOY! Best served with- mash potatoes, green beans, coleslaw, or potato salad.
