This recipe is on how to make a Grilled Cheese Sandwich on a George Foreman Grill.
Not only can you use a Foreman grill but you can also use the generic grills that look like the Foreman Grill. Using the Foreman to make a grilled cheese sandwich is very simple and it helps eliminate cleaning up a mess.
Also, cooking on the Foreman Grill provides a much healthier grilled cheese sandwich than one that is prepared in a skillet. Here are the simple steps on how to make this tasty sandwich:
Ingredients to Make a Grilled Cheese on a Foreman Grilling Machine:
-
2 individual slices of bread
-
2 slices of cheese
-
Optional: 1/2 cups of Mayonnaise
-
2 slices of desired sandwich meat
-
2 pieces of lettuce
Plug your grill into an outlet and let it heat up for about 2 minutes. While it is heating up start preparing your sandwich.
Begin, by taking a slice of bread and then place 2 pieces of cheese onto it. (Optional: add 2 slices of your desired sandwich meat on top of the cheese).
Then take the other slice of bread and lay it on top of the cheese. Now take your sandwich and lay it on the grill and close the top of it.
After about 3-5 minutes your sandwich should be done. Your sandwich will be done when the cheese is melted and the bread is golden brown.
(Optional: once your sandwich is done remove it from the grill and open it up by peeling back the pieces of bread. Once opened add mayonnaise and 2 pieces of lettuce to it and close it back). Once you are done, now ENJOY!!
