Hey Everyone,
I hope ya’ll are having a super Sunday. I’ve been busy studying for my NCLEX which I take on June 11th at 8:00 am…..very nervous. However, I am super positive about it because many of my former classmates have already taken it (they took it June 3rd) and passed it. So it gives me confidence that I will pass. However, there is always that what if….have I studied enough, will I know the answers, am I taking it too soon.
Gosh I just want it to be over with really! I’m ready to put studying and nursing school stuff behind me and start concentrating on my career and polishing my Registered Nurse RN skills which I am getting the hang of a little bit. I suppose I will find out about 2-3 days after I take the NCLEX if I passed. Does anyone know how you pay to get your results early for the NCLEX?
I heard you can pay like $7-8 to know early but where do I do this at? Any clues….anyone?! Sheew this time next week I will know if I passed. I wish I could fast forward and be done already. Good luck to everyone else who will be taking it also! Much Prayers!!
Work has been going good. Last week I worked from 7-3pm Tuesday-Friday. Remember how I told ya I had a dysrhythmia class on Monday from 8-1pm….well I drove 45 minutes to the place to get told it would have to be rescheduled because they were having technical difficulties…it was a teleconferenced class where the instructor is on tv….not sure how I would have liked that anyways. So my dysrhythmia class is rescheduled for June 16 and it is closer to home and not teleconferenced…thank heavens.
I have to take this class in order to become ACLS certified which is required on the unit I work which is a ICU step-down. Tomorrow I work 11-7pm and I’m off Tuesday, Wednesday (to study for NCLEX) and Thursday (to take NCLEX). Then Friday I work again 11-7pm. Right now at work I have been taking one patient on my own and getting down all of the charting and the whole routine of nursing. Next week I’m going to start taking 2 patients. I think I will be better at everything and learn how to get my routine down once I can start incorporating medication administration because right now I can not give medication because I’m not licensed which when I pass NCLEX I will be…..so I can’t wait to pass that.
I’m loving work and my pay checks! For the rest of the night I going to chill and watch on movie on Netflix…not sure what movie yet though. However, here in a second I’m going to take a shower. I hope everyone has a great night!
Until next time,
Sarah 😉
