Ingredients for Homemade Chicken Pot Pie:
-
2-4 cups of Cooked Chicken (cut into small pieces)
-
2 cans of Cream of Chicken Soup
-
2 packages of Frozen Vegetables (make sure to thaw out)
-
1 1/2 cup of Chicken Broth
-
2 Tablespoons of All Purpose Flour
-
2 Pillsbury Pie Shells
Begin by mixing Cooked Chicken, Cream of Chicken Soup, Frozen Vegetables, Chicken Broth, and Flour together in a mixing bowl. Stir contents until it becomes thick.
Take a pie baking dish (standard size), and begin to roll the pie crusts into them. You may have to work with the crust with your fingertips until you have evenly spread it out onto the bottom of the pan and sides. Save the other crust until after you’ve placed the filling inside.
Next, pour the filling you have in the mixing bowl into the pie pan. Use a spoon to even the top if necessary. Then, place the top pie crust over the tip. Crinkle the edges or use a fork to make a design on the edges for a nice presentation effect. Trim any excess crust from the edges, make a couple of slits in the top, and place in the oven.
Cook at 450’F for 30-35 or until shells are brown and contents is bubbling hot. Then ENJOY!
