Ingredients for Golden Cornbread:
2 eggs slightly beaten
1 cup of Milk
1/4 cup Vegetable Oil or shortening
1 1/2 cup of Self-Rising Corn Meal Mix
1 cup of All Purpose Flour
1 cup of Sugar (optional- use if you want your cornbread sweet)
First preheat the oven to 450’F. Grease an 8-inch square pan. In a large bowl, combine all ingredients listed about. Be sure to mix all of the ingredients thoroughly.
