Ingredients to Make a Grilled Cheese Sandwich:
1 Medium size non-stick skillet 2 individual slices of bread 2 Slices of cheese (any type you preferred ex: Swiss, Mozzarella, Cheddar…etc) 1/2 stick of butter Optional: 1/2 cup of Mayonnaise, 2 Slices of Sandwich meat (turkey, ham, chicken, bologna), 2 pieces of lettuce
To begin, take your individual slices of bread and spread butter on only one side of each of them.
Then put one of the slices into your skillet with the butter side facing downward and then lay two pieces of cheese onto that slice. (Optional- with the cheese already on the bread add your sandwich meat.)
Then put the other slice of bread onto the cheese with the butter side facing upwards. Turn the skillet onto medium-high. Flip the sandwich after 3-5 minutes and then do the same to the other side or until both sides are brown and the cheese is melted. (Optional- once your sandwich is done cooking remove it from the skillet and open the sandwich up by peeling back the pieces of bread and then add your mayonnaise and lettuce to it and close it back.) Now ENJOY!!
