NCLEX-RN Results Are In-Did I Pass or Fail that is the Question!

Hey Everyone,

NCLEX-RN results are in! I have to say it was the LOOONGEST 48 hours of my life, especially the last 15 minutes of it. They literally don’t post your results until the exact time you got done taking it….which was around 930 am for me. So did I pass or fail? I know you all are so eagerly waiting hehe!

So here it is: I’m so happy to announce….that I’m officially a Registered Nurse RN baby!! OMG I can’t believe it! I passed the NCLEX. This morning I was so nervous and of course questioning myself….thinking I failed. My heart was pounding so fast before I seen the words “pass”. It was the best $7.95 I have ever spent lol.

So there you have it! I’m celebrating today with my family. I’m so stoked that I really don’t know what to think. I just can’t believe I NEVER EVER have to study for that dreadful NCLEX again. I feel like I can start living my life again because I don’t have to worry about school again….it’s a really great feeling.

I hope everyone has a great day and thanks everyone for all the support….you all are the best pals a girl could have!

Until next time,

Sarah RN, BSN—–finally I can use those initials!

I Just Got Done Taking NCLEX-RN Exam Today!

Hey Everyone,

I just got done taking the NCLEX-RN exam today. I took it at 8 am and was finished at 930 am. I received only 75 questions and it cut off. I hope that is a good sign because I’m torn between the feeling of feeling like I passed and feeling like I failed. One minute I feel “yeah I think I passed” and then “oh crap but I did get this one wrong”.

I’ve heard getting 75 questions is a good sign BUT NCLEX stresses that it doesn’t matter because someone who gets 75 questions can easily fail like some who got 75 and passed. On question 74, I was praying that it would cut off because I couldn’t take it anymore. I think I have burnt myself out on NCLEX questions.

Gosh I can’t believe I have to wait until Saturday to find out my results!! It will be the longest 48 hours of my life. Luckily, I have to work tomorrow from 11-7pm so that will keep my mind occupied. When I took the exam there were only 5 other people there testing and only one other person was taking the NCLEX….others where taking tests to become teachers and pharmacists. I guess 8 am isn’t a popular time for people to take tests. I’m a morning thinker so I embrace morning test times.

When I took it they took my photograph and fingerprint. I ended up scanning my fingerprint like 4 times before it is all said and done. Also, they checked my pockets and shoes. I had to spit out my gum and take off my watch. They are pretty darn serious about it. I guess that is good because it keeps it fair.

Saturday I will let you all know if I passed. Hopefully, I did! Good luck to everyone else out there taking it!

Until Saturday,

Sarah ;-) maybe Registered Nurse RN
